Kane County School District has recently implemented a new bus tracking software for parents or guardians. The product is called Busbuddy, and it allows access to real-time tracking data for the district route buses, which shows the location and if the student is on the bus. Busbuddy also shows a satellite view of the pickup and drop-off times for each bus stop. Parents can use the app to receive notifications to see when the bus is leaving the stop before their riders, when the bus is coming, when their students step on the bus, when their student arrives at school, or if there is a delay on the route. On the district side, we will use Busbuddy to track bus maintenance and state route reporting data. Parents/guardians can download the Busbuddy app from the app store and create a parent account. If you have any questions or need assistance accessing the app, please send an email to woodj@kane.k12.ut.us or contact Mr. Wood at 435-644-2555.
