Kane School District recently received a Utah State School Board School-Based Mental Health Grant, which will provide the district with $67,010.33 each year for the next three years, totaling $201,030.99. This grant is to provide mental health counseling to our students at no cost to the parents or guardians. Each year, our district sees an increase in the number of student mental health counseling requests. As a comparison, in the 2017-2018 school year, 93 students received mental health counseling services compared to the 2021-2022 school year, where 141 students received services. If you would like more information on student counseling services, please contact your school counselor for additional information.
