KSD Honor Students

Each year we celebrate our Honor students to recognize them for their diligence, hard work and successes during the school year.

Usually we hold a district Honors Banquet to recognize each student’s academic success. However, with the restrictions on social gatherings relating to COVID-19, we are unable to continue with the traditional celebration setting. In an effort to continue to provide students the recognition they deserve, Kane School District has provided an award certificate and gift card, which can be redeemed locally. Honor student academic recognition is based on a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher and for competing in the Sterling Scholar program. This year we are honoring 236 students from grades 6-12.

I would like to personally congratulate each of them on their academic achievements during this unprecedented school year.  Their hard work in the classroom is greatly appreciated. I would like to include the following quote from Malala Yousafzai, “The content of a book holds the power of education and it is with this power that we can shape our future and changes lives”.

Again, CONGRATULATIONS! We are proud of you and your accomplishments this year.
