The Utah State Board of Education (USBE) recently announced that Utah’s high school graduation rate has risen to 89.8%, representing 49,442 students who graduated in 2025. This marks steady progress from 85.9% in 2017, along with a significant reduction in the dropout rate from 16.2% to 8.5%.
In the Kane County School District, we are happy to report a graduation rate of 97.9% for the Class of 2025. This achievement reflects the dedication of our students and the unwavering support of our educators, staff, families, and community partners.
As a district, we remain committed to ensuring that every student graduates from high school. The Kane County School District has a goal of 100 percent graduation and recognizes it represents opportunity, success, and a brighter future for each of our students. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our community, faculty, and staff for their tireless efforts and steadfast commitment to student success.
