On Wednesday, January 26th, the Kane County School District provided the opportunity for parents/guardians and students to attend a mental health virtual live webinar titled Ask a Therapist. This event allows participants to ask experts any questions they might have about their student’s mental health or parenting resources. Ask A Therapist allows parents/guardians to submit questions anonymously in the webinar chat or through live interaction. Parents can also listen to questions from other parents and receive mental health resources from Dr. Kevin Skinner, who has conducted more than 250,000 assessments and has 28 years of experience in the field of student mental health. Parents received an email from the schools where they registered for the live webinar. Depending on the participation from the Kane County School District, we may offer additional webinars in the future.
