The Daniels Fund Scholarship recently selected 238 students from across the state of Utah as recipients of their scholarship program. The Daniels Fund, established by cable television pioneer Bill Daniels, is a private charitable foundation dedicated to making life better for the people of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming through its grants program, scholarship program, and ethics initiative. Daniels Scholarship Program provides four-year college scholarships for graduating high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, and commitment to serving their community. Daniels Scholarship benefits from much more than just financial support. At the end of 2021, the Daniels Fund has distributed $1 billion in grants and scholarship awards since 2000. The Daniels Scholarship is one of the most prestigious and difficult scholarships to receive; on behalf of the Kane County School District, we would like to congratulate Steven Luo (Kanab High School) and Hazel Harris (Valley High School) for being recipients of the 2023 Daniels Scholarship!
