We would like to congratulate Ryan Downward for being selected to participate as a violinist in the All-State String Orchestra. It is a very intense process beginning with individual practice and preparation and then performing a video audition. There is only one All-State String orchestra for all Utah students 1A-6A. Ryan has attended 2 area rehearsals in St. George and will attend 3 days of rehearsals in the Salt Lake area this next week. Ryan will have the opportunity to perform at Abravanel Hall on January 20th at 7 pm.
Ryan is an outstanding and exceptional musician; he was also selected last year, as a sophomore, to the All-State Band on French Horn. Congratulations Ryan on your musical accomplishments!
