My529 Educational Savings Plan
The state of Utah provides a college savings plan for parents. If you open a my529 savings plan it can also be used as income tax credit for qualified beneficiary. My529 plans can be used for tuition, fees, computers, educational software, internet access, books, supplies, and student housing and enrollment is open all year. Accounts are free to open with the flexibility to invest what you want, when you want. If you choose to enroll in a my529 educational savings plan, you will have the option of four age-based options. Please know that elementary schools in the Kane School District will be distributing information on the my529 plans as required by Utah Code 53A-10-305, or you can access additional information on their web page at https://my529.org/.
