Lake Powell School
Cara Greenwell joins us at Lake Powell School in Bullfrog, relocating from West Jordan. She brings valuable experience teaching kindergarten, first, and third grades. Ms. Greenwell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Science, a Master of Education in School Leadership, and Early Childhood endorsements, alongside minors in Spanish, Social Studies, and Reading.
Kanab High School & Kanab Middle School
Kathlyn Wagner takes on the role of secondary math teacher for both Kanab High and Kanab Middle Schools. She earned her Bachelor’s in Mathematics Education from Western Governors University and holds a Master’s in Public Health Nutrition from Utah State University. Ms. Wagner previously served as a paraprofessional and completed her student teaching at Canyon View Middle School in the Iron County School District.
Valley Elementary School
Jubal Schneider joins Valley Elementary as our new 4th-grade teacher. Mr. Schneider earned his Elementary Teaching License after serving as a paraprofessional at Kanab Elementary, and he taught 5th grade last year at Cottonwood Elementary in Colorado City, Arizona. He also brings a strong background in IT and private-sector employee coaching.
