Kane County School District’s Business Administrator, Cary Reese, has announced his retirement effective June 2026. Mr. Reese has served in this role for twenty‑five years, and we extend our sincere appreciation for his dedication, professionalism, and long‑standing commitment to the students and families of our district.
The district is now accepting applications for the Business Administrator position. Details are available on our district website. The anticipated hiring timeline is as follows:
- January 21, 2026 – Application deadline
- January 22–27, 2026 – Application screening
- TBA – Candidate interviews
- February 5, 2026 – Announcement of the new Business Administrator
- February 19, 2026 – Incoming administrator begins transition work with Mr. Reese
