KCSD Cosmetology Update

Kane County School District partners with Snow College Cosmetology to provide high school students the opportunity to earn their cosmetology license during high school.  The program continues to be successful with fourteen students who have graduated and passed all three of their State Board Cosmetology Exams. The KCSD cosmetology program welcomes nine new high school students into the program this fall and currently has twenty-six students enrolled in the program.  Cosmetology students have the opportunity to apply their hours towards an associate’s degree at Snow College. We would like to thank the Kane County School Board for their support of the program, and a special thanks to the instructors Nikki Johonson and Stasha Hoyt. We would like to congratulate two recent graduates from the program, Rachel Cox and Clarissa Bowman, who graduated this month. They have completed their 1600 hours and 44 college credits through our program with Snow College.
