Safety Grant Awarded

The Kane County School District recently submitted a competitive grant for the FY25 School Safety and Support Grant through the Utah Department of Education.  The funding was made available through House Bill 61, which allocated $72 million for school safety and security across the state.  After an extensive review of the grant, Kane County School District was awarded $292,900 to improve school security. The majority of the funding will be used to update locks and doors across the district. Additional security cameras will also be updated as part of the grant. The Kane County School District will continue to submit grant applications on the state and federal levels to leverage additional revenue resources for our stakeholders.
