On January 6th, 2024, the Kane County School District faculty and staff completed CPR/AED Certification, Stop the Bleed, and EpiPen training. We would like to thank our district nurse, Whitni McGuire, and JR Quarnberg at the Southwest Technical College for providing the American Red Cross training. We had approximately 120 employees in the district who completed the training, and they will receive CPR Certification cards from the American Red Cross. All students in our schools in grades 9 through 12 receive CPR instruction; typically, this occurs during their health classes. We continue to strive as a district to ensure our schools are safe and our employees have the needed training in the event of an emergency.
