During the June Kane County School Board meeting, the board will be considering amendments to the 2024 fiscal year budget, and the proposed 2025 fiscal year budget for the upcoming school year. The budget hearing will be held at the Kanab Center in the Kane County School Board room on June 25th at 6:00 pm. We would encourage you
to attend. The Kane School District 2025 budget does include a possible tax increase for the upcoming school year. According to the 2024 tax rates, Kane School District has the fourth lowest tax rate in the state and spends approximately $12,656 per student, which is the third highest student expenditure in the state. Essentially, the school district collects one of the lowest local tax rates and spends substantially more per student when compared to other districts.
