Now that school is over, what do teachers do when school is out? They meet together to plan the curriculum for the upcoming school year. On June 6th, 7th, and 8th, over 60 teachers participated in Kane School District professional development to identify essential core standards, interventions, and assessments to improve student learning. I would like to thank Bob Sonju for helping us with the teacher’s professional development. Also, thanks to the teachers who took time out of their summer to review core standards and identify the most engaging and effective teaching process.
