On November 30, 2020, the UHSAA provided additional information and guidelines for winter sports titled Return-To-Play Plan and Sport-by-Sport Recommendations. For specific regulations outlined by the UHSAA for each winter sport and spectator attendance, go to: https://www.uhsaa.org/sportsmedicine/ As we begin our high school winter sports season, we would encourage everyone to become familiar with the following transmission index for each venue.
We would respectfully request for everyone to access the following link: https://coronavirus.utah.gov/utah-health-guidance-levels/ to determine the transmission index for each county. As of Nov. 30, Kane County is in a High-Risk category, which would allow only parents of participants to be in the gyms and watch the games/contests live. We will be streaming the games live from our facilities to allow for everyone to view the game online. You are welcome to contact building principals with questions you may have.
