District Covid Dashboard

Over the past few weeks the district has been notified by Southwest Public Health Department of several students who tested positive for COVID-19 in our district. Principals are working with the Southwest Health Department to notify students who may have been exposed (within 6 feet for 15 minutes or more of the individuals). If you do not receive a notification from the school, your student has not been exposed. Due to laws protecting privacy, we cannot disclose the name of individuals who test positive; however, we want you to be aware of these incidents so you can contact your healthcare provider for medical advice. Students who are exposed to COVID-19 must quarantine at home for 14 days from the last date of exposure.

In an effort to keep everyone informed of the most current COVID-19 information, we will have a district tracking dashboard available on the district webpage https://kanek12.org/2020/09/29/active-covid-19-cases/

You should monitor your child in case he/she develops any of the COVID-19 symptoms, including fever, cough, chills, muscle aches, sore throat, headache, or upset stomach.

Please do not send your son/daughter to school should one of these symptoms occur.
