Kids Read Now Program

Kane County School District recently applied for a grant to allow all Kindergarten through 3rd-grade students in Title 1 schools to receive four free books each year for a total of 16 books. The books will be mailed to the students’ homes at no cost, with the first delivery beginning this summer. We want to thank Mrs. Robin Coleman for completing the grant and making these resources available to students. The Kids Read Now Program will couple with Kane Education Foundation and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, where children birth to five will receive twelve books per year for a total of 60 books. We want to thank Calli Kelly for her work on the Kane Education Foundation in partnership with the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library for making this valuable resource available to our students. Collectively these two programs will provide each student with a library of 76 books by the end of third grade. If you have questions or if you would like to sign up, please select the following link to access Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library https://imaginationlibrary.com/
