KSD Exceeds State Average in State Assessments

According to data recently released by the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), also known as the National Report Card, Utah fourth-grade students dropped from the fourth-best state in 2019 to seventh place in reading in the nation. Eight-graders rose from sixth to the third best state in the country in reading, according to the NAEP report. Also, fourth graders rose from ninth best in 2019 to fifth in the nation in Mathematics. On the Utah State Board of Education end-of-level RISE assessments for the 2021-2022 school year, students in Kane School District exceeded the Utah state averages in all tested areas, including Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science.

We would like to thank all our faculty, staff, parents, and students for their support of the education system in the Kane School District.
