Retiree’s Recognized

On August 15, 2022, the Kane County School District kicked off the new school year with an opening institute for all district employees, where Paul Day and Emily Sagendorf were the keynote speakers. A wonderful tradition at opening institute is the recognition of retiring employees with a tribute and an engraved school bell. This year the district recognized six retiring employees: Julie Ingersoll- 13 years, Laurie Hulet- 24 years, Wendy Vaughn- 26 years, Rod Quarnberg-26 years, Marcie Judd- 27 years

Marianne Leigh-37 years.

On behalf of the Kane County School Board, I would like to thank these individuals for their many years of service to the district and the students of Kane County. We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.
